Roles and Responsibilities
Project Coordinator- 1
* Manage the implementation all field level activities as outlined in the sub agreement;
* Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of project activities;
Preparing and promptly submitting the monthly activity reports / monthly management reports, quarterly analytical reports and all other reports pertaining to the project to the Project Director;
Facilitating the monitoring process by holding periodic review meetings with the project staff; peer educators; community volunteers and care givers;
Networking with government departments, NGO's, CBO's, PLHA networks, and other stakeholders;
Identifies new and coordinates with existing resources (for referrals and linkages) to support the project;
Arranging necessary resource persons to be the principal trainers for respective training programs; and coordinates the capacity building of staff and training of PLHA's, peer educators, community volunteers, families and community.
Routine monitoring of the project staff and activities.
Proper, effective and maximum utilization of staff capacity and expertise.
Routine visits to the projects sites to oversee and supervise to implement the activities;
Facilitate research program in the project whenever necessary

Training and Life Skills Education Coordinator-1
coordinators;
Participate in management and technical capacity building activities supported by PCI;
Plan and implement LSE program; and facilitated LSE sessions.
Documenting and reporting the LSE activities.
Support Project Coordinator and Social Workers in organizing sensitization with community leaders, faith- based organization and networking organizations.

Counselors- 2
Conducts counseling for CAA, PLHA's and their family members;
Identify OVC / PLHA through home visits and area visit
Documents all counseling sessions;
Referral and follow up services.
Health and other support services.
Organize and conduct sensitization sessions meetings and training for OVC, community members, SHG, medical care givers.
Counsel care givers, PLHA's, guardians and other family members to help them to provide care for CAA and cope with the stress; and
Along with the social workers, will train peer educators, care givers and community care animators.

Social Workers -3
Conduct community contacts and home visits to provide basic information on HIV/AIDS, project activities and referral services;
Identification of OVC through general home visit and community outreach.
Liaises with community care animators;
Identifies, trains and extends supervisory support to peer educators and community volunteers;
Develops linkages with the government and private health facilities such as VCTC, DOT centers, hospices, banks, schools, educational department and others;
Organizing and conducting stakeholders meeting, project Committee formation/meeting and NGO networking;
Organizing mass awareness program and sensitization program;
Orientation and supervision of Community Care Animators and
Peer Educators;
Refers children to the health and counseling services;
Accompanies CAA and PLHA to VCTC, DOT centers, clinics and hospitals; and
Implementing life skill education program with the support of other project staff.

Community Health Nurse - 3
Educate families of CAA, PLHA's and caregivers on home-based care especially nursing care;
Provide Home based care OVC/ PLHA (First Aid / Health Care)
Monitors the standards of nursing care in the project;
Visits homes of CAA along with project staff to extend nursing care for terminally ill children and adults wherever required;
Attends and facilitating the caregivers monthly meetings; and
Education care of children infected and affected by HIV / AIDS and management of OI's to Family members, Peer educators and care givers.
Referral to other Health centre.

Part Time Medical Officer - 3
Medical monitoring of clients referred by social workers.
Undertakes home visits when required;
Checks progress of CAA and receiving homecare; and.
Creates medical linkages with other resources.

Remedial Education Teachers - 4
Organize study classes for children;
Provides support to children to cope with the studies; and.
Conducts coaching classes.
Organize special event in the CCDC
Follow up of children regular attendance to the remedial class
Documenting and reporting
Networking with local educational institution for referral and enrollment of children.

Community Care Animators - 12
Conducts community and home visits;
Conducts group and individual sessions on HIV prevention and care and support issues;
Assists the families in providing care to PLHA and CAA;
Provides basic are to PLHA and CAA using the care kits;
Refers people to the home-care team of project; and
Helps families to link with different service components of the project.

Accountant- 1
Posts all bills and vouchers pertaining to the expenses relating to the project;
Posts every-day ledger entries;
Prepares the monthly financial reports; and
Ensures the financial accountability of all project activities.
